James Gunn picked up the “CREATURE COMMANDOS” script before taking over at DC

It follows a group of military superhumans, consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, a Frankenstein’s monster, and a gorgon. Gunn then greenlit the project himself when he became CEO of DC Studios.
He appeared in AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon Cast: The Return of the King (2023)

The cast is great, it’s an entertaining watch from start to finish, a great start to the DCU, can’t wait for Superman. When I heard they were rebooting the entire dcu I had my doubts but when they mentioned James Gunn at the head meeting I was relieved and I trust him to lead the way and I know he will make the dc brand shine, I recommend you guys check out creature commandos because it is the beginning of a brand new dc universe and I can’t wait for more to come, James Gunn is the right man for the job.
